The FBI made this photo of the hijackers. This was posted 72 hours after the attack. This was produced to show the people who bombed the towers and what flights they were on. This was intended for the U.S. to show who did it. This is surprising because they actually figured the hijackers and what planes they were on. If people saw this they could have hatred over Al Qaeda. I can use this in my project to show the people how much actual terrorists there were and what flights they were on

This was created by bbc news. I think this was in the UK  This was shown with the article to tell how many people died/injured, how many terrorists, and to show the flight paths of the airplanes and what airplanes hit what. This image is cool because it shows all the flights and shows where they went. When people see this they could be amazed because there were allot of planes bombing the U.S. I can use this in my project to show where the planes went.

This picture was created by a site called 911 research.  I think this was made in the U.S. This picture was posted to show the people where the hijackers sat on 911, which was close to each other and not spread out. I'm showing flight 11 because flight 11 hit the north tower. This image is a good image because it shows where the hijackers sat. When the people see this they could be surprised by how close they were sitting next to each other  I can use this in my project to show the audience where the sat (which was close to each other).

This image was to show people that again the terrorist were close together in the front and not the back. This is a good image because it shows where the hijackers sat.  When people see this they could be like, Wow I never knew they sat this close to each other. I can use this in my project to show where the hijackers sat.

This was posted to you tube from the U.S. This was posted to show the reaction of people and to show the explosion of the north tower being hit by flight 11. This is a good video because it shows people doing their normal thing then all of a sudden a plane hits the WTC and people start freaking out.  When people see this, they could be like HOLY CRAP, it must be sad for those people in the buildings. I can use this in video to show the peoples reactions and the explosion.

This video was posted to you tube by the username of AuroraHazel. This was posted from the U.S. This was posted to show flight 175 hitting the south tower on 911. Also it was to show the explosion and the reaction of the people  This video is good because it shows the reaction of the people and the explosion of flight 175 . When people see this, they could be like, WOW I cant believe an actual plane it the WTC. I can use this in my video to show the explosion of flight 175 hitting the south tower.

This picture was posted o the site by this guy, who lives in the U.S. This picture was posted to show the north tower burning  at 8:45 a.m after the plane had hit it on the 93rd floor. I am showing the picture to show how severe the fire was in the north tower. This image is cool because it shows the fire of the north tower. When people see this picture they could be shocked.

This is biased for us being right and the terrorist being wrong. This is good because it has allot of information about 911 and what was the importance of the WTC. When people see this they could feel like they know more knowledge of what happened on 911. I could this to help people under stand on how important the WTC was and who was Al Qaeda.

What is the World trade center and why is its significance?

What is the world trade center and why is it significant?:

The world trade center was the 2 twin towers that were 110 stories tall and that were taller than any other buildings at the time. The north tower was 1,710 feet high and the south tower was 1,350 feet high.  The towers took 7 years to build at a cost of $750 million. The towers were so huge that each floor was the size of a football field!!!

The buildings were built to show the world that the U.S. is an important international trader. When the world trade center opened 50,000 people worked in the building such as bond trades U.S treasury sales and all other thing trading. Its basicly the trade capital of the U.S. The world trade center wasn't all business, it had apartments, restaurants and places where you can go to view the city of Manhattan. There were around 26,00 visitors a day that went to the towers. The Americans viewed the twin towers as a symbol of the openness American society. The terrorist saw the symbols of things they hated about America.

I could find information on this topic by going to certain websites, reading articles, watching videos, and looking at pictures. I can use these sources because they are easy to find. To bring personal narratives in my research I could inter view my family.

4. My perception on Muslim's is that they are strict about their religion. The woman have to were alot of clothing. And they follow the Koran.

Terrorist

1. When I hear the word terrorist, I think of people who are killing people to cause fear and terror in people's lives. For example, Someone who blows a car up and kills people.

2. Terrorism is where somebody cause fear in people's lives by doing something to kill people. Al Qaeda are terrorists.

3. I got my knowledge about terrorism from books, pictures, movies, and from teachers.

4.Why do terrorist kill themselves to kill other people?

Cover it up.

The dress code is all right at out school. I don't like being told what to wear but at least it is not like some suit you have to wear all day but its fine. High school students should wear what they want but it has to be appropriate. For example, no swearing, no racism, no discrimination etc.


The Muslim woman have a strict dress code. They have to wear black and cannot show any part of their body INCLUDING THEIR FACES!!!. I think that the woman should cover up, but not as severe as they are doing right now. The woman have dress code just like us because they don't want anything showing. It is different because it is part of the Muslim culture and for school we have to wear it so we don't get in trouble. A person's belief's and culture is more important than just a regular thing like school dress code.

Picture This...

When i was reading the article, I was picturing all the scenarios in my mind. After the scenarios there is a description of of people thought in their mind and what they would do. The description was what I pictured in my mind. It was like my mind was blowing up because that was how cool it is that people did the same thing i did in the situation. When it came to the ax scenario, I was kind of disturbed because i pictured the the description (blood, screams, death.).

Blood Thirsty

When i was reading the 8 page article, I found my self after about reading 3 or 4 pages that my mind was zoning of so I had to read the page again. Also I went on Facebook at around reading the 5th page and looking away from the screen at the wall or out of the window. 

I learned a couple of things. One thing I learned was that I did not know that the Spanish conquistadors had killed 80,400 people. Also I learned that the Aztecs sacrificed their people allot.

1.Why did the Aztecs believe in Gods and sacrificing people?

911 Interview Questions

1. Do you think that the U.S is more or less prepared for disasters to come in the future like Hurricane Katrina, the gulf oil spill, and flooding? Why?

2.  What do you think would have happened if Flight 93 had reached the White House?

3. What do you think could have been done to prevent this attack?

Three Parts

In this story they talk about what they did in New Orleans before Huricane Katrina happened. When the hurricane hit they were scared and had mental breakdowns that everything was destroyed and they have to start all over and that they did not know yet if there family had died or were still alive. They talk about how love and family is more important than anything else. This changes our perspective on history by knowing more on the effect on the poeple after the hurricane.

 


 This is a story about 911, which is the terrorist attack that happened in New York. It is about a husband and a wife who were in New York the time of the attack. The wife got injured from a blast and she is still in shock. This could change our understanding of 911 because of how many people actually died their and not just a regular terrorist attack.

Think Inside The Box

The think inside the box assignment related to history because you got the chance to put things together by investigating what was inside their box to see what they did in the past. In one of the boxes I had, I found out that somone is related to a person in this grade. Also this is related to history because in real life you need to put evidence together to find out what happened in the past.
